We’re also glad to train you in your airplane! Our instructors are insured for liability while operating non-fleet airplanes. If your airplane is not home-based at Fremont County Airport, we’re glad to discuss an arrangement that meets your needs. We do reserve the right to bill for instructor travel time and mileage within reason, but we'll discuss this with you up front.
Requirements
Risk mitigation is our priority, so we ask that customers bringing their own airplanes maintain the following maintenance standards by providing documentation of the following:
-Your most recent annual inspection;
-Your most recent 91.413 transponder inspection if the airplane is equipped with one;
-Your most recent 91.411 altimeter inspection if the airplane is certified for IFR (our policy bases this on what the airplane is certified to do, not what the proposed training mission is);
-Your most recent Airworthiness Directive compliance report; and
